Catherine Lillian O’Grady

1960–2026

 It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the sudden passing of Catherine on Sunday March 8, 2026 at the age of 65 yrs.

 She was a proud and devoted mother to Dr. Melanie O’Grady (Brad Griffith) and Tyler O’Grady (Jennifer Towsley). She will always be remembered by her grandchildren Madison Griffith, and Savannah & Aliyah O’Grady, who brought her great joy.

 She will be deeply missed by her sister Theresa Deschamps (Rick), all the Bolger family, as well as Melanie and Tyler’s father Kelly O’Grady (Kelly) and the extended O’Grady family. She will also be missed by her companion Ahmed, whom she shared many adventures.

 Catherine was predeceased by her parents Colleen Allen (nee Bolger) and Leonard Allen ( Beverly) and her younger brother Len.

 Catherine was an active and vibrant person who truly lived life to the fullest. She treated everyone she met with kindness, respect, and integrity. She loved adventure and travel and was always ready to embrace life’s next experience. Her warm spirit and positive outlook touched many lives and will be remembered by all who knew her.

 Family will be receiving friends at Hillside Funeral Services, 362 Airport Road on Friday, March 13, 2026 between 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm and from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, March 14 at 10:00 a.m. Cathy would want us to embrace the season and come dressed for a joyous spring celebration.
