With Clean Green Beautiful North Bay
Clean Green Beautiful North Bay (CGB) is inviting residents, families, institutions, and local businesses to come together this Earth Week to celebrate community, environmental stewardship, and the power of small actions to create meaningful change.
To mark the start of the season, CGB is pleased to announce that its 2026 biodegradable cleanup bags are now available to order. Community members can request their free bags by visiting cleangreenbeautiful.com, making it easier than ever to take part in keeping North Bay clean and beautiful.
Earth Week Events Earth Day Kickoff – April 22 Earth Week begins with a Flag Raising Ceremony at City Hall at 10:00 AM. Residents are encouraged to attend and show their support for environmental action and community pride. Everyone is welcome.
North Bay Farmers’ Market – Saturday, April 25 CGB will be hosting a booth at the North Bay Farmers’ Market, offering an opportunity for the public to: ● Learn more about Clean Green Beautiful North Bay ● Sign up to do their part ● Receive free biodegradable bags ● Participate in an interactive litter education game designed for all ages This event is a fun and engaging way to connect, learn, and take a simple step toward a cleaner community.
Highway Cleaning Blitz – Saturday, April 26 From 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, volunteers are invited to participate in a community cleanup effort. Participants will meet at the corner of Fisher Street and the Bypass (former North Bay Hydro building). All supplies will be provided, including gloves, safety vests, grabbers, bags—and coffee.
Calling All North Bay Businesses CGB is also encouraging local businesses and institutions to take part in Earth Week by organizing their own cleanup events. Businesses can register their participation by emailing cleangreenbeautifulnb@gmail.com with their event details.
Free biodegradable bags are available and will be delivered at no cost to support these initiatives. This is an opportunity for organizations to demonstrate leadership, strengthen team engagement, and make a visible impact in the community.
