Celebrating 26 years of Voyageur Days in Mattawa

Mattawa’s biggest party gets started on Friday.  

It’s the 26th annual Mattawa Voyageur Days.  

The concerts on Friday include Pop Mach!ne, Royal Tusk, Fefe Dobson and Default.

On stage at Explorer’s Point on Saturday are Tyson Ranger Band, Tim & The Glory Boys, Jade Eagleson and The Reklaws.  

Sunday is all about rock tribute bands with three lined up before fireworks wrap up the festival.  

Daytime activities Friday through Sunday include the vendors market, children’s activities, live music in the afternoon at Annie’s Park and big canoe tours with Ontario Parks.  

There’s also a turkey dinner at the Legion on Friday and a Lion’s Club pancake breakfast on Sunday.  

Saturday features a talented women’s artisan market and the inaugural family cornhole tournament while Sunday includes Science North exhibits, reptile shows, Legion bingo and the Mattawa Good Time Cruisers Car Show.
