Celebrating Hope and Healing with Recovery Rocks

Recovery from addiction is attainable and sustainable.
That’s the message from Recovery Month Canada with September being National Recovery Awareness Month.
Locally, an event that celebrates hope, healing and the strength of the recovery community is taking place on Wednesday.
Recovery Rocks – North Bay Recovery Day is being hosted by the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) North Bay and District.
Along with first-person recovery stories and an open mic session, there will be live music from a trio of musicians who connected through CMHA’s residential addiction treatment program.
The event runs from 11 am to 2 pm in the lower hall at Calvin Presbyterian Church.
