Chamber says social issues are business issues

Chamber says social issues are business issues

By Richard Coffin

Local businesses and organizations are being asked for their thoughts on the impact of homelessness, addictions, and mental health.

A short survey has been posted online by the North Bay & District Chamber of Commerce, which says social issues are business issues too.

Officials say the goal is to better understand how local and regional businesses are affected by the issues, and to inform future conversations and advocacy.

The same survey questions were posed to Chamber members in late 2024 with officials looking to compare results with this year’s survey.

The Chamber says that will help it better understand trends, progress, and ongoing challenges in our community.

You can find a link to the survey in The Chamber Voice weekly business update.
