La famille a le regret de vous annoncer son décès survenu au Centre régional de santé de North Bay, le mercredi 20 août 2024 à l’âge de 90 ans. Il était entouré de sa famille.
Fils de feu Maxime et de feu Malvina (née Trudel). Époux de 70 ans de Jeanne (née Vachon). Père bien aimé d’Hélène (Daniel Gingras), Vivian (Dennis Gebhart) et Louise (Barry Johnston). Son souvenir restera gravé dans la mémoire de ses petits-enfants Sophie (Ryan), Marie-Soleil (Denis), Jessica, Jennifer (Steve), Trevor et Zachary ainsi que ses arrière-petits-enfants Alexe, Mikaële, Alara, Colton, Brielle et Caleb. Frère de Pierre (feu Eva), Yvonne Conrad (Maurice), Pierrette Landriault (feu Larry), Raymond (Gisèle). Prédécédé par son frère Hector et sa soeur Diana. .
André a connu une belle carrière comme pompier et capitaine au service de la ville de North Bay de 1957 à 1991. Il adorait la pêche sur glace, la menuiserie, le jardinage, le curling et surtout, raconter des farces. Il était un époux, un père, un pépère et un vieux pépère extraordinaire.
La famille recevra la parenté et les amis au Salon Funéraire Hillside, North Bay, le mercredi, 28 août, 2024 dès 12h00 à 14h00.Un service funéraire suivra à 14h00.

It is with great sadness that the family announces his peaceful passing on Tuesday, August 20th at the North Bay Regional Health Centre with his loving family by his side at the age of 90.
Son of late Maxime and late Malvina (Trudel). André was the devoted husband of 70 years to Jeanne (née Vachon). He was the proud father of Hélène (Daniel Gingras), Vivian (Dennis Gebhart) and Louise (Barry Johnston). Grandfather to Sophie (Ryan), Marie-Soleil (Denis), Jessica, Jennifer (Steve), Trevor and Zachary. Great-grandfather to Alexe, Mikaële, Alara, Colton, Brielle and Caleb. He is survived by his siblings Pierre (late Eva), Yvonne Conrad (Maurice) and Pierrette Landriault (late Larry), Raymond (Gisèle). Predeceased by his brother Hector and his sister Diana.
André was a firefighter and a captain with the City of North Bay from 1957 to 1991. He loved ice fishing, carpentry, gardening, curling, but mostly telling jokes. He was a wonderful husband, father and an extraordinary pépère and old pépère.
Family will be receiving relatives and friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, between 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm with the celebration of life to follow at 2:00 pm.
