Chippewa recognized for Terry Fox Run fundraiser
Chippewa Secondary School has once again placed in the top 25 fundraising high schools in Ontario for the Terry Fox Run.
Officials say the school raised $11,572 to earn 22nd place. This is the third consecutive year that Chippewa has been recognized for the honour.

“This recognition shows the dedication the staff and students of Chippewa have in their commitment to fulfilling Terry’s dream of finding a cure for cancer,” says Chris Cassidy, school organizer.
The Near North Board secondary school was also the only high school in Northern Ontario to be named in the top 25.
