Christmas party raffle supports Mattawa school breakfast programs
Five school breakfast programs are receiving support from Gincor Werx Mattawa Division.

Nearly $7,500 is helping ensure students at three elementary and two secondary schools in Mattawa have access to a nutritious breakfast that supports learning and well-being.
Mattawa District Public School, École élémentaire catholique Sainte-Anne, St. Victor School, F.J. McElligott Secondary School and École secondaire catholique Élisabeth-Bruyère each receive just under $1,500.

Officials say funds were raised in a raffle at the Gincor Werx Mattawa’s annual staff Christmas party, and matched dollar-for-dollar by the company.
They say this marks the first year of a 3-year commitment to support local school breakfast programs, reinforcing the company’s ongoing dedication to giving back to the community.
Several local organizations have been supported in previous years, including the Mattawa and Area Food Bank, Mattawa Hospital, and the Let’s Remember Adam campaign.
