The donations are still being counted but nearly $94,000 was raised in this year’s CIBC Run for the Cure in North Bay, in support of those with breast cancer.

Kevin Oschefski was one of three Run Day Determination Award winners.

Over four days last week, the Country 90.5 FM morning host walked and ran 129 km from the Northeast Cancer Centre in Sudbury to Downtown North Bay.

He raised close to $31,000 in support of the CIBC Run for the Cure and all those battling breast cancer.

Rhonda Croghan and Christine also won Run Day Determination Awards.

The Warriors of Hope won the women’s team challenge award, Cancer Crushed It is the Friends and Family Team Challenge award winner and Corporate Spirit was won by Lakeshore Dental Care.

Nationally, the CIBC Run for the Cure raised more than $18 million for Canadians impacted by breast cancer.
