City of North Bay - Scam Alert

The City of North Bay is warning residents about a text message scam related to parking infractions.

Some community members have reported receiving fraudulent texts and emails claiming to be from “Ontario Parking,” stating that unpaid infractions must be resolved by a certain date to avoid license suspension.

Please be advised that the City of North Bay, which administers all services under the Provincial Offences Act (POA), does not send text messages regarding parking violations.

If you receive such a message, do not click any links or provide personal information.
