The City of North Bay is continuing its public consultation on the Downtown Waterfront redevelopment and is now seeking feedback on three conceptual design options developed from previous community input.

Residents are encouraged to share their thoughts through an online survey open until Jan. 14, 2026. Those who complete the full survey can enter a draw to win one of six $100 Hello Cards, redeemable at more than 20 downtown shops and restaurants.

This next phase of the Downtown Waterfront redevelopment focuses on the large common area behind the North Bay Museum and is designed to complement nearby amenities, including the Family of Rotary Splash Pad and Playground, the North Bay and Dionne Quints museums, multi-use courts, and the Kiwanis All-Wheel Park. Building on more than 20 years of waterfront development, the project aims to enhance recreation, tourism, and community life.

The City has previously gathered input through public meetings, a Farmer’s Market booth, and an initial online survey, which received over 1,400 responses. The current survey invites residents to review the resulting conceptual designs and provide further input to help guide the next stage of the project.
