City police hosting women in policing session

A women in policing information session is taking place Tuesday night in the Canadore College Gymnasium.

The North Bay Police Service is hosting the session to encourage women to explore a career in policing.

A panel of women police officers will share their experiences, career journeys, and insights into law enforcement.

There’s also a question-and-answer session and the chance to try the shuttle run, a component of police fitness testing.

“We hope this session helps break down barriers, answer questions, and highlight the many opportunities available in policing,” says Police Chief Daryl Longworth.
