City powering up McKeown/McNamara traffic signals
The new traffic lights go live today (Thursday, Sept. 3) at McKeown Avenue and McNamara Street.
The city says intermittent traffic disruptions can be expected as crews test and commission the new traffic signals and crossings.

Flaggers will be there to periodically stop traffic, with officials asking drivers to slow down, follow the direction of flaggers and allow extra time when travelling through the area.
The city says the traffic signals are expected to be permanently activated by the end of the day.
