City’s water and wastewater budget finalized
The city has finalized the 2026 water and wastewater budget.
Officials say if approved, the annual impact for an average residential user would be an increase of $43–$50, or about $3.58–$4.18 per month.
A public meeting on the proposed rates will be held on Nov. 26.
Council will vote on the finalized budget on Dec. 9.
The city says committee meetings that were scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday were cancelled after the budget was finalized this week.
