Claudette Courchesne
Passed away suddenly at the age of 73, the 15th of December 2024 at her home in North Bay with her loving husband and Son at her side.
Claudette leaves behind her husband Marc of 48 years her daughter Danielle Courchesne (Carlos Montero), her Son Philippe Courchesne, and grandchildren Leonardo and Vincient Montero. Also, her sister Louise Boisvert and Broder Andre Proulx. She also had many cousins and friends.
Claudette was predeceased by her parents Marius and Yvette Proulx and twin brother Claude Proulx.
Born in Sudbury September 27th 1951 and relocated to North Bay to start her nursing career at St-Josepf’s hospital.
She was a dedicated operating room technician serving 35 years assisting various surgeons. On many days and nights, she was called in to work very long hours. She always said how much she loved her work.
As per Claudette’s wishes, cremation has taken place and the family will be receiving visitors at McGuinty Funeral Home Ltd. (North Bay) on Sunday December 22, 2024, between the hours of 1 to 4 pm. A celebration of life will be held at 4 pm in the McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel. If desired, donations to a charity of choice would be greatly acknowledged by her family.
