Clean, Green, Beautiful Presents Streetscapes Award Ceremony

Join Clean, Green, Beautiful (CGB) North Bay as we celebrate the 2025 Winners of Streetscapes! Our judges have narrowed their selections and the top three in each category will be celebrated. 

 CGB is excited to announce that over 170 nominations were received city-wide across the categories! The city was truly blooming this year with gardens on every corner. CGB is proud of all nominations and residents who work hard to keep their property, and North Bay, clean, green, and beautiful. Your efforts are not unnoticed! 

 Judges met over the course of August and narrowed down their selections in each category. The judges included Lori Laporte of Laporte’s Nursery & Greenhouse, Judy Hendry, Master Gardener & Heritage Gardener, and June Charette of North Bay Horticultural Society. Nominations were scored based on their adherence to the category criteria, which can be found on cleangreenbeautiful.com/streetscapes . 

 This year saw the addition of 6 categories to Streetscapes: Business, Overall Curb Appeal, O’ Natural, Edible Garden, Street Recognition and Balcony or Small Spaced Garden. Due to not reaching the minimum number of nominations, Balcony/Small Spaced Garden will not be awarded this year. The top 3 nominees in each category have been contacted and invited, and will be awarded their rank at the ceremony.

 We extend our invitation to the public to celebrate and congratulate the beautiful gardens and gardeners awarded this year. There will be time to socialize with one another to exchange gardening tips, tricks and ideas as you prepare your plans for next year’s competition!

 The ceremony will be held at Laporte’s Nursery & Greenhouse on Sunday, September 7th from 11am to 12pm.
