Collision in Highway 63 claims two lives
The North Bay detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is investigating a fatal collision on Highway 63 near Highway 533.
Emergency crews responded at about 8 o’clock Monday morning.
The OPP says the crash involved a commercial motor vehicle and a passenger vehicle, with two people in the passenger vehicle pronounced deceased at the scene.
The OPP’s Traffic Incident Management Enforcement team is assisting with the investigation.
Police say Highway 63 was closed in both directions for about seven hours after the crash.
