Community Foundation supports 20 local groups

Over $126,000 is going to 20 local organizations.
The North Bay and Area Community Foundation announced the grants through several community funds, donors and sponsors.
“Our Annual Community Grants program offers an avenue of funding to local charities in need of support for new and ongoing projects,” says Preston Tapscott, Foundation Executive Director. “We are honoured to announce that through our latest round of annual grants, we have been able to provide over $125,000 in support of 20 of these crucial projects. This is thanks to the dedicated support of our donors, fundholders, partners, and sponsors who uplift our capacity to grant. Thank you, and thank you to our recipients who are working so hard each day to make the projects we support possible.”
Some of the recipients include One Kids Place, the PADDLE program, various local youth programs, and more.
