Connecting Retirees Through Friendship and Fun
Blue Sky PROBUS Club: Connecting Retirees Through Friendship and Fun
North Bay’s retirees have a new way to stay connected and engaged with the launch of the Blue Sky PROBUS Club, the second PROBUS Club in the city. Designed for retired and semi-retired individuals from all walks of life, the club offers a welcoming space for fellowship, friendship, and fun.

What is PROBUS?
PROBUS Clubs are local, non-political, non-sectarian, and non-profit organizations that provide opportunities for social interaction and lifelong learning. Members come from diverse professional backgrounds, including business, education, civil service, and the military.
Activities and Benefits
The Blue Sky PROBUS Club hosts monthly meetings featuring guest speakers, along with a variety of social events such as dinners, theatre outings, and bus trips. For those with a sense of adventure, some clubs even organize international travel.
Membership offers more than just activities—it’s about meeting new people, staying socially engaged, and promoting a healthy mind and body. It’s an opportunity to explore new interests and maintain an active lifestyle during retirement.
A Global Community
PROBUS is a worldwide movement with thousands of clubs across countries like Canada, the UK, and Australia. The Blue Sky PROBUS Club is proud to be part of this global network, bringing retirees together to share experiences and build lasting friendships.
