Couple Halloween events lined up

The city is hosting its Spooktacular Halloween event this Saturday.

Officials say youth and their families are invited to the Oct. 25 event at the Caldwell-Ellam community centre on Carruthers Street from 10-11:30 am.

There will be pumpkin painting, a Halloween scavenger hunt, facepainting and balloon animals.

It’s a free drop-in event and registration is not required.

Also on Saturday, Hands TheFamilyHelpNetwork.ca is inviting families to its free sensory-friendly events across the region.

Officials say they’re designed to offer children a calm and supportive space to practice trick-or-treating and enjoy activities, games, refreshments, and more.

Locations include :
• Bracebridge – 23 Ball’s Dr.
• North Bay – 820B Lakeshore Dr.
• Parry Sound – 2 May St.
• Timmins – 100 Wilson Dr.

Registration is taking place online.
