Crews deal with area hydro outages
Nearly 1,500 Hydro One customers are without power in the area.
According to the utility’s outage map, the area impacted stretches from Restoule to Mattawa.
The outage is currently under investigation, with an estimated restoration time of around 2 pm.
Upwards of 2,000 customers were initially impacted.
Around mid-morning, North Bay Hydro reported a large-scale outage affecting about 8,000 customers, due to a loss of distribution supply.
The power was restored about 20 minutes later.
