With the Truro Bearcats winning the Maritime Hockey League (MHL) title Monday night, the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League (NOJHL) champion Greater Sudbury Cubs now know who their four round robin opponents will be at the Centennial Cup, presented by Tim Hortons, May 7-17, in Summerside, P.E.I.

Greater Sudbury will open up Thursday, May 7 when they take on the Toronto Patriots (OJHL) at 11 a.m. ET.

Up next for the Cubs will be a Friday, May 8 encounter with the Truro Bearcats (MHL) at 6:30 p.m. ET.

The NOJHL champs will then go up against the Flin Flon Bombers (SJHL) Monday, May 11 in an 11 a.m. ET matinee.

They’ll then finish up the round robin portion of their slate versus Collège Français de Longueuil (QJAAAHL) on Tuesday, May 12 with another 11 a.m. ET start.

The top three teams in the two divisions of five will advance to the playoff round with the first place finisher in each group earning byes directly to the semifinals on Saturday, May 16.

Quarter-final action goes Friday, May 15 with crossover games between the second and third place sides taking place.

The Centennial Cup Final will be held Sunday, May 17 at 6 p.m., ET with the game being broadcast live on TSN.

All other contests at the 10-team event will be streamed live on a pay-per-view basis, via HNLive.ca.
