CURWIN, Norma

Peacefully passed away at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Friday March 20, 2026, at the age of 87 years.

Norma was the beloved wife of the late Murray Curwin and the loving mother to Kelly Curwin, Lynn Copeland, Mark Curwin (Meredith), Scott Curwin (Anne), Marnie Cameron (Brad), and Matt Curwin (Lisa). Norma was the cherished grandmother to Jared, Brandon, Kyle, Loren, Grace, Logan, Hannah, Ingrid, Jake, Clay, Katie, Jessica, Angelina, and great-grandmother to Capri, Banks, Maverick, Nova, Kenna-Rae, Connor, Cal and Cameron. She will be lovingly remembered by her siblings Carol Aronetz (late Tony), Jerry Hopkins and Joyce Zerr (Gary). Norma is predeceased by her sister Margaret McKinnon (late Walter), as well as her parents Sidney Hopkins and Elsie Phelan (nee Olsen). She is fondly remembered by her many friends here as well as relatives in Eastern and Western Canada. 

As per Norma’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family celebration of life will occur at a later date. Her family extends its sincere thanks to her entire care team at the hospital.
