Denis retired on December 1st, 1995, from TransCanada Pipeline after more than 30 years of loyal service. Throughout his career, he was known for his strong work ethic, integrity, and unwavering commitment to getting the job done right. His colleagues respected him deeply for his dedication and quiet leadership, and he took immense pride in helping build and maintain one of Canada's most vital infrastructure networks, known today as TC Energy. Denis never sought the spotlight, but his contributions made a lasting impact.
He was a loving and kind-hearted man who will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his gentle spirit, and his passion for sports, especially his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays. Whether it was catching a game on TV or sharing stories about great moments in sports history, he found joy in the camaraderie and excitement of the game.
