Denise St. Onge

Denise St. Onge

It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Denise St.Onge (Amyotte)

She was truly one of a kind. Funny, kind, thoughtful, and full of life, she had a gift for making people laugh and bringing joy wherever she went. She was the life of the party, always ready with a smile, a laugh, and a little fun. To know Denise was to love her.

Above all else, family was the centre of Denise’s world. She was a wonderful and deeply loved mother to her daughters, Micheline (Christian) and Natalie. Her love, patience, strength, and devotion to her family were immeasurable.

Being Gramma to Alec, Olivia, and Renee brought Denise so much happiness. She was the fun-loving Gramma—the one who laughed with them, loved them endlessly, and made memories they will carry with them for the rest of their lives. They were incredibly lucky to call her Gramma.

Denise shared a beautiful life with her beloved husband, Roger. Their marriage was a testament to love, devotion, partnership, and commitment. Through all of life's joys and challenges, their love for one another remained strong. The life and family they built together are a beautiful reflection of that love.

Denise was also a loving daughter to Betty (predeceased by her dad, Lou) a cherished aunt to her many nieces and nephews, and a treasured sister to Linda (Mike), Pat (Henry) David (Kim) Donald, Cindy (Ernie) Kim (Marc) and a friend to so many. She had an incredible heart and a world of patience, always giving so much of herself to the people she loved.

Her absence leaves an emptiness that words simply cannot describe. We will miss her laughter, her humour, her kindness, her beautiful spirit, and the way she could light up a room simply by being in it.

While our hearts are broken, we are incredibly grateful for every year, every laugh, every memory, and every moment of love she gave us.

Denise was so deeply loved and will be missed beyond measure.

Forever Roger’s love. Forever our Mom. Forever our Gramma. Forever in our hearts.

As per Denise’s wishes, no formal service will be held. A celebration of her beautiful life will take place on Saturday September 26th from 1 to 4 at the Rorab Shrine Club, 1260 Brookes St., where those who loved her can come together to remember the laughter, love, and joy she brought into our lives.

In honour of Denise’s memory, hold your family a little tighter, laugh a little louder, and never miss an opportunity to tell the people you love just how much they mean to you.

For those wishing to make a donation in Denise’s memory, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the North Bay and District Humane Society would be greatly appreciated. Online condolences can be made at www.hillsidefuneral.ca
