Diane Chirgwin
Our beloved Diane Chirgwin (nee Gagnon) passed away peacefully on Monday, March 3, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
Adored wife for 51 years of Terry, loving mother of Chantal (Christian Popp), Meggan (Jerry Grabiec) and Jamie. Diane was a very proud and engaged grandmother to Olivia Popp, Cameron Popp and Kensie Grabiec. Diane was predeceased by her granddaughter Kasia Grabiec (2012).
Diane loved cheering on her grandkids from the sidelines, spending warm summer days with them in the pool and welcomed any opportunity to spend quality time with them. Diane loved music, singing and dancing. She was a talented all-around athlete competing in volleyball, baseball, soccer and golf. Diane enjoyed the winter months cruising world destinations and walking the beaches of Panama City Beach, Florida.
Diane was a dedicated registered nurse for 34 years. It was only fitting that in the end she too was cared for by like-minded compassionate and empathetic ladies and men from ParaMed and nurses from CarePartners - Thank You. We are also grateful to Dr Reitzel for his unwavering support and guidance.
Diane will be deeply missed by her numerous siblings, many nieces and nephews, and friends.
The family will be holding a Celebration of Life for Diane at a later date.
