Donald "Don" Turcotte

Peacefully passed away at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at the age of 83 years.

Donald was the beloved husband of Doris (nee Gladu) Turcotte. Predeceased by his parents Exzior and Hermaline Turcotte, his siblings Irene Todd, Edgar Turcotte, Simone Tuckett (late Reg)., Loving father to Danny Turcotte, Doreen Lavigne (Robert), and Debbie Lavigne (Yvon). He was a cherished grandfather to Shawn, Corey, Sabrina; Melissa, Jamie; Stephen, Stacey, Skylar and several great-grandkids.

Donald was a dedicated truck driver with Gap Construction for over 30+ years until retirement, and never missed a day of work. Don cherished his time camping in Marten River with his family and friends and was well known for his fish fries.

He enjoyed fishing, was known for his witty sense of humour and was happiest when he was playing the slots at the casino. 

As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. If desired, donations to the Canadian Kidney Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
