Donating a car to support PHARA and Rotary

A unique partnership has been formed to raise funds and awareness for PHARA Community Services and the Rotary Club of North Bay.
They’ve teamed up with the Donate a Car Canada program.
Officials say the initiative allows people to donate their used or unwanted vehicles, with proceeds staying local and supporting causes close to home.
“This partnership represents a win for everyone,” says Mike Van der Vlist, CEO of PHARA Community Services. “Residents can responsibly part with vehicles they no longer need, and at the same time help us provide essential health care services, housing, and independence in our community.”
The Rotary Club of North Bay sees the program as an opportunity to extend its longstanding tradition of service.
“Our members are always looking for innovative ways to give back,” says Jeffrey Hobbs, Rotary Club President. “Funds raised through this program will support youth, health, education, and international projects that make a real difference.”
