Driver suffers life threatening injuries in ATV-Crash
North Bay OPP are investigating a serious single-vehicle All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) rollover on Highway 522 that provincial police say left the driver with life-threatening injuries.
Emergency crews responded around 4:30 pm on Tuesday (Feb. 11).
The driver was taken by ambulance to an open area in Powassan, then airlifted to hospital.
The investigation continues.
Police say the westbound lane of the highway was closed for about 5 and a half hours after the crash.
