EDEN, Ronald
Known for his wit and sarcastic sense of humour, Ron loved to joke and entertain others by singing along while he played his guitar. He was passionate about fishing, telling stories and his dog Blackie. Whether it was helping with renovations or just lending an ear, he was a man who was always available to help in time of need.
Ron peacefully passed away at the West Nipissing General Hospital (Sturgeon Falls) on November 15, 2024, at the age of 71 years. Ron was the proud and loving father to Craig and Colin and Cathy (nee Shearer) Eden, and the unforgettable grandfather to Caitlin and Cole.
He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings Sandra Peladeau, Merle Gaudette, Eileen Eden, Brian Eden, and Janet Turnbull and all of his nieces and nephews . He is predeceased by his parents Gilroy Eden and Lila (nee Cayen) Eden. As per Ronald’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
There will not be a service. If desired, donations to the West Nipissing Hospice would be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
