Elger Joseph Cosgrove

Born on September 13, 1946, in North Bay, Ontario, Elger spent his life surrounded by the family, friends, traveling, and at his camp. He was a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend whose kindness, loyalty, and positive outlook touched everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Elger was a man of his word. Known for his ever-present smile and optimistic attitude, he approached life with a simple philosophy that became his signature saying: "Everything is all good." Whether sharing a laugh with family, lending a helping hand, or enjoying time at "the camp," he had a gift for making those around him feel welcomed and valued.
Elger is lovingly survived by his daughter, Tammy Cosgrove; his son, Kevin Cosgrove; and his daughter-in-law, Luciana Cosgrove. He was a proud grandfather to Stephanie, Kendall, Braden, Jocelyn ( husband Josh), Griffin, Larissa, and Gabriela, and a great-grandfather to Ridley.

He was predeceased by his beloved son, Shawn Cosgrove, and his sister, Arlene.
Though our hearts are heavy with his passing, we take comfort in the countless memories he leaves behind and the example he set through a life lived with kindness, integrity, and optimism. His smile, laughter, and reassuring words, "Everything is all good," will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
