ESC Algonquin hosting OFSAA ‘A’ girls volleyball championship
Twenty senior girls’ volleyball teams from across the province are in North Bay for the OFSAA ‘A’ championship being hosted by École secondaire catholique Algonquin.

The Barons have three games on Monday, against schools from Cambridge (10:30 am), Aurora (1 pm) and Russell (430 pm).
Tournament games are being played at Algonquin and Canadore’s gym at the Education Centre.
“Hosting this renowned championship highlights École secondaire catholique Algonquin’s exceptional facilities, its dedication to student well‑being, and its strong leadership in promoting school sports”, says Sophie Chrétien, principal. “We are honored to host this event and offer students an enriching experience that allows them to connect with other young people who share the same interests and passions.”
