ETCHES, GEORGE
After a brief illness at the North Bay Regional Health Center on Wednesday December 31, 2025, at 86 years of age.
Dear husband of Sharon Etches (nee Cooper) for 63 years. Loving father of Kimberly Etches of North Bay and Kelly van der Burg (Steve) of London, Ontario. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Delaney van der Burg, Madison Scott, Megan van der Burg and Tianna Head.
George enjoyed travelling in the 5th wheel and being outdoors. Many will remember him as a steady fixture at the Timmies on Seymour having coffee with the ‘coffee crew’.
Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home on Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm.
The funeral service will be held at St. Andrew’s United Church on Sunday at 3pm.
Interment will follow in the spring at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
