Evelyn Siviter
Peacefully passed away on January 31, 2025, at Cassellholme, Evelyn Siviter was reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Jimmy. She was welcomed with open arms by her parents, Marianna and Frank Ciancio, and her siblings Mary Felice (Henry), Albert Ciancio (Gloria), Rosie DeAngelis (Freddie), Helen Moreau (Jerry), and Leo Ciancio (Dorothy).
Evelyn’s love and warmth will be deeply missed by her cherished children, Judy Barr and Randy Siviter (Laurie). She will be forever remembered by the joys of her life—her grandchildren Darryl (Jenn), Marianne (John), Jaclyn (David), and Neil (Sarah)—as well as her adored great-grandchildren Aria, Joseph, Emily, and Alice.
Evelyn’s life was filled with love, laughter, and generosity. She held a special place in the hearts of her many nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbours. A phenomenal cook, she expressed her love through food, delighting everyone with her legendary spaghetti and meatballs, scalille, and decadent butter tarts. She took great joy in keeping a well-stocked pantry and freezer, always ensuring that those around her never left empty-handed.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful staff at Cassellholme for their kindness and compassionate care, which made Evelyn’s final years—despite her journey with Alzheimer’s—both joyful and dignified.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring, with details to be announced at a later date.
She will be deeply missed but forever remembered with love.
