Event that typically draws thousands returns downtown Friday
Another holiday tradition returns Friday with the Downtown Old Fashioned Christmas Walk.
The tree lighting ceremony kicks off the festive fun at 6 pm at the corner of Fraser and Main.
There’s also hydro bucket and amazing train rides, live music and caroling, a marshmallow roast, community booths, and more
Thousands of people typically venture downtown for the annual event.
Along with many shops being open, North Bay Fire & Emergency Services will have firefighter calendars available.
100% of the proceeds of the calendar sales are going to Chat4Chad.
There’s also a chance to win a live Christmas tree at the walk, by scanning the QR code at the tree.
Meantime, at the Jack Burrows Parkette, this year’s fourth and final North Bay Winter Market coincides with the downtown walk.
Along with vendors, visits with Santa, museum tours and more, there’s a mobile nightclub and silent disco set up for all ages.
