Events next week supporting job seekers, employers and more
April 20-24 is Workforce Week locally.
The Labour Market Group is presenting a week-long series of events designed to support job seekers, employers, and entrepreneurs across North Bay, Almaguin, and Parry Sound.
Officials say a wide range of community partners will deliver hands-on support, networking opportunities, and workforce development resources. Events include resume clinics, job readiness sessions, employer hiring events, community information sessions, and a job fair.

“Workforce Week is about creating meaningful connections,” says Stacie Fiddler, Executive Director of The Labour Market Group. “By bringing together job seekers, employers, and community organizations, we’re helping to build a stronger workforce across our region.”
Many sessions are offered as drop-in opportunities, making them accessible and flexible for participants.
Events will take place at locations throughout the region, as well as online. Some require pre-registration, while others are open for walk-ins.
