Exemplary service honours for two local paramedics

Two local paramedics have been recognized for 20 years of exemplary service.

The District of Nipissing Social Services Administration Board (DNSSAB) says superintendent Maxine Samson and Primary Care Paramedic Scott Poirier have been awarded the Governor Generals Exemplary Service Medal.

“We value each of our paramedics and the lifesaving work they do each day and recognize and congratulate Maxine Samson and Scott Poirier as recipients of the Governor General Exemplary Service Medals,” says Mark King, DNSSAB Chair.  “We are very fortunate to have such skilled and dedicated professionals like Maxine and Scott among our ranks.”

They were honoured at a ceremony earlier this month in Collingwood.
