Fall Community-Wide Cleanup and Adopt-A-Highway Cleanup

Clean, Green, Beautiful

Join Clean, Green, Beautiful in their Fall Community-Wide Cleanup on Friday September 19th, 2025 (Businesses & Schools) and Saturday September 20th, 2025 (City-Wide).

Businesses and schools are asked to rally a team of employees on Friday September 19th and clean their parking lots, properties, and local streets to help keep North Bay litter-free.

Residents are urged to join the Community-Wide Cleanup on Saturday September 20th, by cleaning up local parks, streets, shorelines or anywhere that needs extra care. For those looking to join a team, visit our Facebook Group to find pickup pals. The Fall Community-Wide cleanup marks the last large litter pickup event before the first snowfall.

Residents looking for a group cleanup can join our Adopt-A-Highway cleanup! Interested volunteers are asked to fill out the form here, and arrive by 9am on Saturday September 20th, at the 1350 Fisher Street parking lot (old Hydro building) to help clean the shoulder of North Bay’s highways. This is a great opportunity for high school students to gain their volunteer hours. Volunteers must be at least 12 years old to attend and anyone under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Bags, gloves, safety vest, and grip 'n grab sticks will be provided.

CGB asks residents, businesses and schools to tag our accounts in their litter pickup posts so that we can share your contributions on our accounts.

Biodegradable bags can be ordered online for home delivery via https://www.cleangreenbeautiful.com/bag-order. Alternatively, volunteers can stop by the CGB booth at the North Bay Farmers Market Fall Fair on Saturday, September 20th, from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM to pick up their biodegradable bags in person.

Volunteers are encouraged to register at https://www.cleangreenbeautiful.com/bag-order and review important safety guidelines before starting their cleanup. These guidelines provide essential tips on safe waste disposal, wearing protective gloves, and carefully handling any sharp or hazardous objects they may encounter.
