Fatal rollover in Strong Township

Ontario Provincial Police with the Almaguin Highlands detachment report a 70-year-old Huntsville resident has died after a single-commercial-vehicle rollover on Sunday morning.

Emergency crews responded to the crash around 7 am on the southbound on-ramp from Highway 124 to Highway 11 in Strong Township.

Province police say the driver of the logging truck was taken to hospital and later pronounced deceased.

A passenger was also taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The on-ramp was closed for about 12 hours while investigators were on the scene.
