Female charged as Drugs Seized in Traffic Stop

A female was arrested on May 18th, after an alert Patrol Officer observed a vehicle make a brief stop at a known drug-use location on Main Street East in North Bay
On Sunday May 18th, at around 1 pm, the accused drove a vehicle to a North Bay address and was provided with a large quantity of Amphetamine tablets to be delivered to another address in North Bay. While on the way to the second address, the vehicle was observed by an officer to be making erratic movements, and it came to a brief stop on Main Street East.
Once the vehicle was in motion again, a vehicle-stop was initiated by the officer, and open alcohol was discovered in the vehicle. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed a quantity of drugs, and the accused was arrested. The accused was transported to police headquarters, and her belongings were searched.
The accused in this incident is Lindsey Foldesi, 41-years, of North Bay, who is charged with;
- One count of Trafficking in a Schedule 1 Substance
- One count of Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
- One count of Breach of Recognizance
As a result of police searches, the following items were seized;
- 490.5 Amphetamine pills which were packaged for distribution
- 4 capsules of Morphine pills
The street value of the drugs was approximately $2450.50.
The accused was released on an Undertaking with a future court date.
