Filming Project to Use Replica Firearms and Have a Simulated Crime Scene, and Simulated Violence
The North Bay Police Service (NBPS) and the City of North Bay are advising residents of a film production taking place on August 27 to 31, 2026.
Filming will occur:
- 480 McIntyre St W from Thurs, Aug 27 at 5:00 pm to 4:00 am Fri, Aug 28
- 320 Ski Club Rd from Fri, Aug 28 at 2:00 pm to 4:00 am Sat, Aug 29
- 212 Victoria St W from Mon, Aug 31 at 10:00 am to 11:30 pm
During filming, members of the public may notice simulated violence, a simulated crime scene with "picture car" ambulance and police vehicles, and individuals carrying replica firearms and other prop weapons. These items are being used as part of the production and do not pose a threat to public safety.
NBPS is aware of the filming, and appropriate safety measures will be in place throughout the production.
