Filming Project to Use Replica Firearms and Have a Simulated Crime Scene, and Simulated Violence
The North Bay Police Service (NBPS) and the City of North Bay are advising residents of a film production taking place on Wednesday, August 19, 2026.
Filming will occur:
- From 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Terrace Lawn Dr between Ski Club Rd and O'Brien St with a local-traffic-only road closure
During filming, members of the public may notice simulated violence, a simulated crime scene, and individuals carrying replica firearms. These items are being used as part of the production and do not pose a threat to public safety.
NBPS is aware of the filming, and appropriate safety measures will be in place throughout the production.
If you observe an emergency or suspicious activity unrelated to the scheduled filming, call 9-1-1 immediately.
