Fishing and Outdoors Show set for early May
Organizers of the North Bay Fishing & Outdoors Show say a full day of outdoor energy is being brought indoors.
The show is set for Sunday, May 3 at the RJ Surtees Athletic Centre at Nipissing University.
Along with industry leaders from across Ontario, there will be exhibitors with fishing gear, wilderness lodges, outfitters, conservation groups, outdoor retailers, and more.

“We wanted to build something that truly reflects the outdoor lifestyle here,” says organizer Dean Hartnagle. “The response from across the province has been incredible, and May 3 is shaping up to be a huge day for the North.”
A full day of seminars are headlined by Canadian explorer and author Adam Shoalts, who will share stories from his solo expeditions across the Canadian Arctic, and other adventures.
A Kids Trail Pass is also available with hands-on activities designed to introduce children to the outdoors, including a wildlife game, Kids Casting Zone, and more.
“This is a chance for the outdoor community to come together in a big way,” says Hartnagle. “If you love fishing, hunting, paddling, or spending time outside, this is where you’ll want to be.”
Tickets are $10 and are available online at northbayoutdoorsshow.ca
