The second week of school is getting underway and school bus officials continue to ask drivers to be vigilant.

Stock Transportation in North Bay reports five school bus light infractions in the four days of school last week.

“One is the number of mistakes it takes to take a child's life,” reads a post on the bus operator’s Facebook page.

Four incidents happened in North Bay, on the 200 and 600 blocks of Lakeshore Drive, the 1500 block of Cassells Street and on Silver Lady Lane.

The other incident happened on Highway 63 in Redbridge.

Motorists are also asked to be extra-attentive whenever they see school buses.
