The hazards include icy and slippery surfaces.

The timing is expected to be late this afternoon through this evening.

A cold front will sweep across the region later today. Temperatures are forecast to fall rapidly behind the front. Ponding water, slush, and any falling precipitation will freeze as the temperature drops.

Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas.
