Funding to develop a climate risk and adaptation plan in North Bay
Just over 140 climate-related municipal adaptation projects across Canada are receiving more than $34 million in funding.
That includes the City of North Bay, which is receiving $105,000.
It’ll be used to develop a Climate Risk and Adaptation Plan.
Nationwide, projects include adaptation plans, climate-focused asset management strategies, comprehensive risk assessments, program design studies, and implementation projects.
The money comes from Environment and Climate Change Canada and the Federation of Canadian Municipalities.
