Ford Global Caring Month 2025: Making a Local Impact with Ford’s Quest for the World’s Largest Dealer Food Drive
Ford is excited to kick off Global Caring Month, an annual worldwide effort where Ford employees and dealerships come together to support their communities. Throughout September, our team members participate in volunteer projects organized by the Ford Philanthropy and Ford Volunteer Corps, addressing local needs like hunger relief, housing improvements, and educational support.
Donation collection runs from Monday, September 15th through Thursday, September 25th, 2025. This year, we’re aiming high, hoping to collect and distribute 1 million pounds of food globally. Ford's network of 9,000+ dealerships are encouraged to contribute 200 pounds of food each (roughly 200 cans) to help meet this goal and make a real difference in their own neighbourhoods. "We here at Stockfish Ford are proud to be part of a community coming together to help neighbours in need. Every bit of support can make a big difference for local families right here at home," says Shelby Mahon, Social Media Coordinator at Stockfish Ford.
George Stockfish Ford is proud to partner with the North Bay Food Bank to support this important initiative. We invite our community to join us in helping neighbors in need because local action creates lasting change.“The North Bay Food Bank relies solely on the generousity of our community to support our hamper program. We are serving almost 1,000 people facing food insecurity each month, so events like the Ford World’s Largest Food Drive, goes a long way to help keep our shelves stocked. We are so grateful for the efforts of our local George Stockfish Ford dealership and thank them for their kindness” says Debbie Marson, Executive Director of the North Bay Food Bank.
How You Can Help: We are collecting non-perishable food items such as juice, flour, sugar, oatmeal, canned tuna, small pasta, pasta sauce, beans, cereal, pancake mix, and syrup. Please make sure all donations are within their “best before” date and no older than September 2024. We cannot accept items that are expired, opened, or damaged.
Drop-Off Information: You don’t have to be in the market for a vehicle to lend a hand. Whether you’re stopping by for service or just visiting, you’re welcome to drop off donations at George Stockfish Ford. Every contribution stays local and directly benefits our community members in need.
