Geraldine Roveda (nee Brassard)

Peacefully passed away at Eastholme – Home for the Aged, at the age of 85, on Monday February 16, 2026, with her son by her side.

Geraldine was the beloved mother of Peter (Jennifer) Roveda, cherished memere to Jessica and Nicolas Roveda, David, Rachel and Carla White. Also survived by her sister Jeannine Brassard, sister in-law Tina Stuart as well as a large number of nieces and nephews.

Geraldine is predeceased by the love of her life Pep Roveda in 2010 with whom she was married to for 50 wonderful years. Predeceased by her much-loved son Dino Roveda in 2006. Always quick with a warm smile and a generous heart to all who knew her.

Geraldine was a greatly respected piano teacher for many years, always spoken of highly by her scores of students. The family wishes to express a heartfelt thankyou to all the staff at Eastholme for the amazing care, and compassion given to Geraldine.

As per Geraldine’s wishes, a private family burial has taken place and the family will be receiving visitors at the David Club (North Bay) for a memorial gathering on Saturday April 18, 2026 between the hours of 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
