Giving for Good campaign supports two local groups

It’s a ‘Season of Impact’ for Northern Credit Union.

They’ve donated $130,000 to local causes and groups across the 25 communities they have branches in, including our area.

“Giving back is part of who we are year-round, but there’s something especially meaningful about running our Giving for Good campaign during the holiday season,” says Jessie Wright, Communications and Community Investment Specialist. “This time of year, needs become more visible, pressures increase, and community connection matters more than ever.

Local recipients include:

  • Big Brothers Big Sisters North Bay
  • OUTLoud North Bay

Over 55 charities across the province received support from Northern Credit Union this December.

Officials say they focused on organizations providing resources and services in social wellness, mental health, and youth physical activity.
