Golf tournament supporting the North Bay Food Bank

The Drive For Hunger Charity Golf tournament tees off Friday.

Officials say every year participants meet at Pinewood Golf Course to raise money and awareness for the North Bay Foodbank, with this year’s two round tournament taking place over the next three days.

In one of its latest updates, the North Bay Food Bank says it’s helping families prepare for a new school year and is asking for help stocking its shelves with quick and easy meal options, lunchbox essentials and personal care items.

Donations can be dropped off at the food bank, at 1016 Fisher Street.
